A screw that passes a visual check can still bind in a plated hole or leave a cover loose after tightening. Shi Shi Tong helps you review the screw, coating and mating components together. This carbon steel pan head version uses blue zinc plating, a Phillips recess and a full right-hand machine thread.
When finish requirements and thread fit are considered separately, a seemingly minor change can disrupt assembly. The condition of the receiving thread matters as well as the screw coating.
How we help: We review the external-thread requirement, the mating thread and the specified finish as one interface. We agree the finished-part inspection criteria with you and use sample feedback to assess whether the selected coating and thread dimensions work together before volume production.
The tip may be reaching the bottom of a blind hole, or the head may contact a nearby feature before it seats on the panel. More torque can conceal the fit problem without correcting it.
How we help: We examine the under-head length, usable hole depth and clamped stack. Where the drawing shows interference, we assess a practical change to length or head geometry and confirm manufacturing feasibility. Your sample assembly then checks that the cover seats as intended.
A Phillips recess must match the production bit and remain accessible within the finished housing. A crowded approach or unsuitable recess dimensions can slow installation and leave visible damage.
How we help: We review the recess specification, head envelope and tool approach. Finished samples can be evaluated with your intended bit so feedback on engagement and appearance is considered before the screw design is approved.
Base material: Carbon steel.
Surface: Blue zinc plating.
Head / drive: Pan head / Phillips.
Thread: Fully threaded, right-hand machine thread.
Diameter, pitch, length, material requirements and finish acceptance are confirmed against your drawing. The coating specification should define the required exposure performance; appearance alone does not establish a corrosion rating.
Send a drawing or sample description together with the mating-part details and the issue seen during installation. We assess dimensions, material, finish and process feasibility, then clarify tooling and sample requirements. After sample feedback, we agree the production specification and inspection plan for the order.
Our manufacturing experience supports drawing-based development when an off-the-shelf screw does not fit the joint. For this blue-zinc machine screw, we connect head and recess requirements with the finished thread and selected process route, helping you resolve fit questions before committing to a production batch.

For this configuration, the review focuses on finished thread gauging, under-head length, pan-head contact and recess engagement. Dimensional, coating and other agreed checks are selected for the project so inspection addresses the features that affect your assembly.

Certified scope: design and production of screws. We review material and product-specific documentation against your order requirements.

Bring the screw and mating-part problem into the discussion. Factory visits and sample reviews help our team understand access restrictions, finish expectations and the repeat-order requirements behind your purchase.
These figures describe company-wide customer cooperation.
Can you match an existing screw?
We can review your sample and mating-part information, identify the critical dimensions and assess a drawing-based replacement.
Can blue zinc be replaced by another finish?
We review the alternative with the fit, appearance and exposure requirements before proposing it.
When can you confirm price and delivery?
After reviewing the specification, quantity, tooling and inspection needs, we confirm the quotation and proposed schedule.
Share the screw drawing or sample details, mating thread, panel stack, finish requirement and quantity. Tell us whether the concern is binding, poor seating, visible marks or repeat-batch consistency so we can focus the review on the problem that matters to you.
