Why Do Tiny Screws Need To Be Tightened Clockwise?

In our daily life, kitchen utensils, furniture, mobile phones, computers, televisions, etc. can all see the presence of tiny screws. For example, the rose gold plated ultra low head trox CD pattern screws on the mobile phone, or the ultra low phillips cross recessed nylok paste on the computer are precision small screw fasteners. So, do you know why tiny screws need to be tightened clockwise?

The screws of the tiny screws are divided into left and right threads. The left thread is placed vertically with the thread of the screw. The thread is left high and the right is the left thread. Otherwise, the right high left is the right thread. The screw with the left thread needs to be screwed in counterclockwise rotation, while the right thread is rotated clockwise to tighten.

In the fastener industry, our default thread is the right thread when the customer does not explicitly require the thread to be left or right. The left thread is generally used in two cases: one is to use the left thread when the rotation direction needs to prevent the thread from loosening; the other is the place where the connection needs to be both the front and the back thread can be tightened. Therefore basically all screws (including small screws) need to be rotated clockwise to tighten.
