Long Screws: Standard Sizes or Custom Designs?

Long screws are available in some standard sizes, but a standard part may not match the length, head geometry, thread length or material required by an industrial assembly. Shi Shi Tong reviews these requirements together to develop a suitable custom design and manufacturing route.

Custom long and extra-long screw capabilities

Our long-screw product family spans M1.4–M12 diameters and 2–2000 mm lengths, with common long-screw lengths of 200–600 mm. These are family-level ranges: feasible combinations depend on material, diameter, geometry and process. TA1/TA2 titanium long screws in the 200–300 mm range are assessed separately.

Head and drive geometry, full or partial threads, straightness, critical tolerances and surface treatment are reviewed against the drawing and application. Sample and production schedules are confirmed after the manufacturing requirements have been assessed.
